Richard Matano Bemaronda is a renowned community development and counseling expert, an environmentalist with 21 years of enormous hands on experience. He received his college qualifications from the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) and has worked for Community Action for Nature Conservation since 2010 as a project assistant before being promoted to the position of project manager; marine and fisheries resources programme to- date. Richard began his career work in 1998, having worked for Tsunza Conservation and Development Programme 1998-2003 (TCDP), Kenya Marine Forum 2003-2004 (KMF), the East African Wildlife Society 2004-2006(EAWLS), Kuruwitu Conservation and Welfare Association (KCWA) 2006-2010 and Eastern African Environmental Network 2006 (EAEN) For the last twenty one years, Richard has enjoyed and earned an utmost and thrilling working experience with artisanal and small scale fishers along the Kenyan Coast.
