Western Kenya Research Assistant

 

Damaris Kisha is the Western Kenya Research Assistant for the Kenya Crane and Wetland Conservation Program that works to conserve wetlands and Grey Crowned Cranes in Western Kenya.  She maps grey crowned cranes and wetlands across Western Kenya through sites identification and monitoring. She has worked with the organization since November 2019. Previously, she was working with Trans Nzoia County Government, Environment Department. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Egerton University Kenya in 2018. She is an adventurous person and loves travelling and sporting.
