Joyce Watiri Keingati is an Environmentalist with two years’ experience of professional work in the field. She holds a BSc. in Wildlife Enterprise and Management from Chuka University and currently pursuing French Language at Alliance Française, Nairobi. She also holds certifications in Oil and gas from HSE International and International Human Resource Development Corporation (IHRDC) and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning from Community Development Resource Association (CDRA).
She is part of the team that coordinates the South Western Indian Ocean Forum (SWIOTUNA) a regional forum bringing Civil Society organisations and Private Sector dealing with Marine and Fisheries issues. This forum is currently hosted at CANCO. Having CANCO as a multi-disciplinary organisation, she has also been part of other departments besides Marine and Fisheries department, including Oil, gas and Mining, Water and Wetlands and Organisation Development.
Her hobbies include participating in nature based activities, farming and watching movies.
